Meridian Health physicians to access Practice Fusion free EMR

Meridian Health, a not-for-profit healthcare organization in New Jersey,US, has entered into partnership to provide Practice Fusion's free Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to its network of 2,000 physicians.

To make the EMR transition easier, Practice Fusion will also connect with Meridian Health’s laboratories.

Meridian Health information technology senior vice president Rebecca Weber said the company is committed to help its physicians deliver the highest quality of care.

"Practice Fusion makes it is easy for physicians to get started immediately and qualify for Meaningful Use incentives," Weber added.

Practice Fusion business development senior vice president Todd Martin said, "Partnering with Practice Fusion gives these physicians access to an EMR with no barriers to entry, and supports our goal of bringing a free EMR solution to providers in local health systems of every state."

In addition to Practice Fusion’s EMR, Meridian Health has partnerships with Allscripts and eClinicalWorks to provide their EMR at a discount to their physicians.
