HighPoint inks strategic partnership with Nintex

HighPoint Solutions, a provider of specialised IT services to the life sciences and healthcare industries, has entered into strategic partnership with Nintex, a developer of software products that extend Microsoft SharePoint technology.

Nintex claimed that its products which are designed to streamline standard business activities, surface valuable information, encourage and enable collaboration, and empower business users and IT professionals alike, include Nintex Workflow, which adds a drag-drop workflow designer, a toolbox of workflow activities (80+) and advanced workflow features to the Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and 2010 platform, and Nintex Reporting 2008, which provides insight into workplace usage, trends, and behaviors within Microsoft SharePoint 2007.

HighPoint R&D and Collaboration vice president David Gwyn said that Nintex’s software products augment Microsoft SharePoint.

"By leveraging Nintex’s products, HighPoint can help pharmaceutical companies set up and maintain compliant processes in SharePoint," Gwyn said.

"Nintex Workflow enables repeatable and secure processes for content creation, review, approval, and storage.

"By creatively using SharePoint’s built-in functionality, pharmaceutical companies can establish a cost-effective alternative to other leading enterprise content management systems."

Nintex managing director Wayne Woolston said that the partnership between HighPoint Solutions and Nintex is built on a strategic commitment to delivering industry-specific business value via HighPoint Solutions’ specialised industry expertise in life sciences and healthcare and Nintex’s SharePoint products.
