Grünenthal adopts BioClinica OnPoint CTMS technology

Grünenthal has signed a global license agreement with BioClinica for its BioClinica OnPoint Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) to support Grünenthal's ongoing clinical trials.

BioClinica OnPoint CTMS helps clinical trial sponsors to consolidate and share the data, while improving trial management by using Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and Microsoft Office 2010.

BioClinica CEO Mark Weinstein said the agreement demonstrates the results of its continuing commitment to deliver innovative technology solutions that help customers execute and manage the clinical trials with efficiency and speed.

Grünenthal Quality & Systems head Hazel Collie said BioClinica’s platform will provide clinical staff with a timely and comprehensive overview of relevant data and helps for efficient planning.

"In this regard, OnPoint supports our objective to enhance our innovation process, allowing us to develop solutions to improve the quality of life of our patients," Collie added.

BioClinica is a provider of integrated, technology-enhanced clinical trial management services.
