Greenphire, Oracle partner to automate trial planning, budgeting and payments

Clinical trial payments technology provider Greenphire has entered into partnership with Oracle Health Sciences to streamline and automate processes from trial planning and budgeting, data capture to executing payments.

Initially, the partnership deals with integrating Greenphire’s global payment platform, eClinicalGPS, with Oracle’s electronic data capture (EDC) solutions, Oracle Health Sciences InForm and Oracle Remote Data Capture (RDC).

The integration helps in ensuring quick product implementations to the clients without relying on internal development and staffing.

Data sharing between EDC and payment technologies permits seamless transition between the collection and capture of clinical data and the accurate execution of payments.

Oracle Health Sciences senior vice president and general manager Neil de Crescenzo said that integrations between the product suites can help biopharmaceutical companies and CROs achieve new levels of efficiency and deliver powerful analytics that support continuous improvement.

"This will enable companies to re-direct freed up resources to discovery and development initiatives," Crescenzo added.

Greenphire and Oracle are currently working with three joint clients, including two global biopharmaceutical clients and a growing biotechnology client.
