AG Mednet launches Cloud Storage Solution for clinical trial data

Global diagnostic imaging network AG Mednet has launched a Cloud Storage Solution with on-demand access to clinical trial data.

AG Mednet Storage complements the firm’s other software, including AG Mednet Submission Quality & Compliance, an automated quality assurance package for detecting errors at investigator sites prior to data submission.

According to the firm, the new cloud solution will provide sponsors a secure, validated and scalable infrastructure, along with copies of image data and case report forms from sites, automatic alerts when new images, aggregated data for querying by site, subject, timepoint and modality and on-demand access to post-trial copies of unaltered submissions for future use and aggregation with other trial submissions.

The firm’s new solution wil provide on-demand infrastructure scalability to the core labs without increased capital or FTE investments, besides it also works as a disaster recovery and long term archival, regional storage across Asia, Australia, South America, Europe and the US and simultaneously delivers image submissions to multiple locations.

AG Mednet president and CEO Abraham Gutman said the firm is committed to provide technology solutions, which enable pharmaceutical advances through zero-delay clinical trials.

"The ability to easily store and access image data in a Part 11 compliant, on-demand manner gives sponsors, CROs and AROs the flexibility to expand current offerings and increase revenue opportunity with no capital expense. When used with AG Mednet’s quality enhancement offerings, organizations no longer need to accept trade-offs when it comes to managing, storing and accessing clinical trial imaging data," Gutman added.
